About Us

The QCLUG was formed by a group of people interested in the Linux operating system, computers, and technology in general. They formed the QCLUG group and mailing list with the help of the Cedar Falls and Iowa City LUGS.

This group was created to provide support and information for people using Linux. The members are people who enjoy computers and would like to help others learn about alternatives to the Windows and Mac OSs.

The group is also a place to discuss new technologies that use Linux and related technologies. The public is encouraged to attend meetings, join and post to the mailing list or join our slack

Membership to the QCLUG is Free! You just need to attend meetings to be considered a active member.
